SEI-KI TRAINING - TOTNES Devon
PAGE IN CONSTRUCTION
THE SEI-KI APPROACH to working with people through touch is simple and transformative. It trains the practitioner and the client to deepen their sensitivity and ability to make contact in non-habitual ways. It demonstrates how to put aside body-work theories and routine techniques and to develop an embodied presence, observational awareness of where touch is needed and an approach to engage with the receiver by feeling and resonant communication.
DEEPLY ROOTED in the Shiatsu and the Japanese Shinto healing practices and philosophical traditions, Sei-ki is a practical and rewarding touch-based method with a clear therapeutic effect. In essence it guides the ability to release one’s physical and emotional distortions, to live with, and connect, to others with open heart, in resonance.
SEI-KI was originally founded by Akinobu Kishi, with whom Daniela worked extensively in the UK, Europe and Japan.

to things or goals, beyond attachment you will be serene

SEI-KI: Touching the World
Deepening the Ecology of Touch through Presence, Relationship and Open Awareness
with Daniela Coronelli FWSS
20-22 November 2026
@ Totnes Natural Health Centre, Totnes, Devon
A CPD-accredited 2½day Sei-ki workshop in Totnes, for practitioners and those exploring embodied, relational
and ecological approaches to touch. A focused yet playful approach to deepening presence and refining
perceptual sensitivity in practice
This 2½day experiential workshop explores how therapeutic effect in Seiki arises through presence, relational awareness and the subtle dialogue of touch. Together we deepen the ecology of touch by meeting inner and outer experience with sensitivity, gratitude and open awareness.
Through demonstrations, paired exchanges, group discussions and outdoor sensory practices (weather permitting), held within an autumnal atmosphere of gathering and resting, practitioners can deepen their capacity to resource themselves, clarify their touch and cultivate the attuned sensitivity at the heart of Seiki.
Who is it for?
Designed for practitioners of touch-based
disciplines (Sei-ki, Shiatsu, Reiki, Cranial-Sacral, Massage, etc) - and CPD accredited - as well as those interested in personal and collective wellbeing, the weekend offers an opportunity to deepen presence, perception, embodied connection and ecological awareness.
The orientation for this weekend includes:
-
Attuned, responsive touch Refining the capacity to sense clearly, respond appropriately, and let the body lead the interaction.
-
Relational awareness Meeting through attention, Working beyond technique Engaging in practice shaped by presence rather than diagnosis, automatic protocols or the drive to produce an outcome.
-
Relational awareness Meeting through attention, Relational awareness Meeting through attention,
trust and reciprocity - noticing what shifts and becomes therapeutic when touch is a dialogue.
-
Resourcing the practitioner Applying specific Seiki tools such as breath communication, regenerative movement and recognising resonant areas in the receiver through touch, so your work supports you as much as the person you meet.
-
Relational awareness Meeting through attention,
Awareness of the relational field Sensing how internal state, interpersonal dynamics and environment influence the quality and depth of touch.
-
A guided yet responsive process Moving through a clear thematic arc while allowing participants’ experience and what arises in the group to inform how the practice unfolds.
Seiki offers both an enriching way of being with clients and a transformative complement to existing practice.
