MANAGEMENT 8 WEEK COURSE

Mindfulness4Wellness offers a one to one 8-week course, in person, for people who prefer individual learning and support. The Zoom option is convenient for those who would like to participate from the comfort of their home and would rather not travel to the course location.

 

I will guide you through the eight-week Mindfulness4Wellness course of led meditations and strategies, where you will learn how this practice can help bring relief to your condition and to live with more resilience to stress and life difficulties, wherever you are starting from.

 

During each week you are invited to follow one step of the programme at home and have a one-hour in-person session, or on zoom, to talk about any learning that has arisen for you from the weekly meditation practices, and to answer any questions you may have.

 

The cost includes all materials, which we either give you or send to you by post at the start of the course, as well as an initial zoom orientation session before the start of the course.

 

Cost: £380 (waged) and £290 (low-income or on benefits)

For concessions you may also ask your employer if they can pay for you to attend this course or reimburse part of the fee.

1-2-1 IN-PERSON TAILORED MINDFULNESS COACHING

This is an opportunity to learn and explore mindfulness skills in a way that suits you, within a quiet and homely location and without the concern of having to interact with a group or to commit to an eight week course. Whether you would like to learn mindfulness for stress relief, anxiety, pain or ill-health management or simply for general well-being, this format is ideal if you live in the Totnes area or are able to travel to Totnes for your sessions.

 

After an initial discussion, where we explore how mindfulness can help, and learn a couple of meditations, each session is tailored to your specific requirements and designed to meet individual needs. A session lasts one hour, allowing for in-depth exploration of mindfulness meditation and for any discussion that might arise during the sessions. As in the group courses, home practices are given at each session, to support you to integrate the newly learned mindfulness skills.

 

It is up to the individual to decide how many sessions they would like to undertake. However a minimum number of six to eight sessions have proved to be effective to cover a comprehensive set of mindfulness skills to support a specific condition and for integrating the meditations into daily life.

1-2-1 IN-PERSON MINDFULNESS FOR STRESS OR PAIN MANAGEMENT

COACHING COMBINED WITH SHIATSU MANUAL THERAPY

These sessions give you the advantage and flexibility of the individual mindfulness coaching and the soothing therapeutic effects of shiatsu touch.

 

In addition to learning mindfulness meditations and strategies that help you to care for your well-being, whatever condition you are living with, here you receive a 30 minute shiatsu session. Shiatsu touch can further support you to relieve tension and stiffness arising from emotional or mental states, to improve mood, raise your level of energy and to enjoy restful sleep (to name only a few of its benefits).

 

As in the group courses, home practices are given at each session, to support you to integrate the newly learned mindfulness skills. Sessions are 90 minutes long and are ideal if you live in the Totnes area, or close to it.

 

It is up to the individual to decide how many sessions they would like to undertake. However a minimum number of eight sessions have proved to be effective to cover a comprehensive set of mindfulness skills to support a specific condition and for integrating the meditations into daily life.
